Neko Ino was begun when I became a fan of Kyou and Kagura as a pairing and tried to find fics about them. While there were a few floating around, they were spread out so far that it was difficult to find them. Fanart and graphics were even harder to come across. I looked around and saw that there was no one place that hosted or linked to any number of K/K works and that's when I decided to create my own.

The credit for the name goes partly to SeraphAngel's fic "Neko to Inoshishi" (hosted here). It was short and yet told exactly what the site was meant to be. In the beginning, I really didn't expect for it to last. I thought that I would set up a small site to make it easier to fins the few fics out there and then it would come to an end. But I underestimated the number of Kyou and Kagura fans. Not only did the fics keep coming, so did the visitors who made it clear that they'd been waiting for a site like this to be born.

Since then, we've moved a few times and the number of fanworks here has continued to grow. More and more people become regular visitors and contributors and I'm pleased to have expanded beyond just hosting. While the new sections with games, challenges, and contests are fun, I'm particularly proud of the Author's Help section and the people who've submitted things for it. I can only hope that this site continues to go on as well as it has so far.

**PK** is the shortened form of **Promise Keeper*, a name entirely K/K related. It was in reference to when Kyou promised to marry Kagura (albeit under the threat of a beating) and my wish that he would keep that promise. It's a little silly but I've come to like it very much.

**PK**, the webmistress, is still learning when it comes to coding and the other tools of website making. I do pride myself on being polite and helpful, and I always try to show my appreciation for those who submit things to this site. That's why I review fics as I ask to host them and continue to review them even after the author says yes. The idea to start writing some fics of my own is there, but so far, I'm happy doing what I do.

**PK**, the RL person, is a girl from the US who really doesn't like to talk about herself much.

This site wouldn't be what it is without a lot of people besides me. First, there's Natsuki Takaya, for creating this series we all love so much.
